These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Lessli ("Lessli," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Lessli app and this website (the "Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The service

Lessli is a wellness and nutrition coaching app that provides live, all-day guidance, pantry-aware meal suggestions, and adaptive planning. The Services are provided for general wellness and educational purposes only.

2. Not medical advice

Lessli is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the Services is for educational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any weight-loss, diet, or exercise program, and never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App. Results vary.

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have any history of disordered eating, talk to a healthcare professional before using weight-management features. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Lessli offers a free tier and an auto-renewing paid subscription, "Lessli Pro" ($12.99/month or $59.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan; prices may vary by region). The following apply to subscriptions purchased through the App Store:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including: reverse-engineering or attempting to extract source code or API keys; using the Services to violate any law; attempting to disrupt or overload our systems; or using the Services to build a competing product. You are responsible for the content you submit.

6. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, software, and content (excluding content you provide), are owned by Lessli and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any guidance will achieve a particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lessli will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Apple App Store terms

These Terms are between you and Lessli only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent there is any conflict with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, that agreement governs for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the Services at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
